Material
Stainless steel for springs – Precipitation hardening steel
ISO6931-14568-177
ISO 6931-1 4568-177 is a stainless spring steel with high levels of nickel and chromium, providing good corrosion resistance and strength. It is commonly used in applications requiring high elasticity, such as springs and wire components. The material also include small amounts of aluminum to enhance corrosion mechanical strength properties, and it makes the material precipitation hardenable. ISO 6931-1 4568-177 allows higher working temperature and has better fatigue properties than ISO 6931-1 4310-301.
